What a “Quack-tastic” 2nd annual TBBOR Duck Dash! Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the festival and the 5K Duck Run in spite of the weather. Due to the flooding of Nolan Creek the Rubber Duck Race was converted to a FaceBook Live Duck Drawing. Winners of both the 5K and rubber duck draw can be found under the results tab.
Thank you to Monteith Abstract and all the 2018 sponsorship partners for supporting and braving the weather to help make the 2018 Duck Dash Festival a success. We are excited to announce that we were able to present the Children’s Advocacy Center $8,000 this year.
And a special thank you to all the members, leadership, and staff of the Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS for hosting, organizing, and pulling off a great event!
Check back soon for details for the 2019 Duck Dash Festival!!! See you all next year.
As part of their Community Involvement initiative, the Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS is hosting the second annual "TBBOR Duck Dash" a fundraiser benefiting a local organization. This year's recipient is the Children's Advocacy Center of Central Texas (CACCT).
Located in Belton Texas, the CACCT provides a safe place where child abuse victims and their families receive counseling, sexual assault exams, and family advocacy services that provide hope, healing and gives them back their child hood. CACCT also provides a safe place where law enforcement, prosecutors, and child protective service workers can investigate abuse allegations in a manner sensitive to the needs of young victims.
Bring the whole family and spend the day in the park! Enjoy live music, food, kids zone, vendors and more. Help us reach our $10,000 fundraising goal by participating in the 5K Dash - Fun Run as a runner or a "Phantom Quacker" or by adopting a duck for the Rubber Duck Dash.
What better way to spend time with family and friends, than in beautiful Yettie Polk Park.
Enjoy live music and great food throughout the festival. Explore all the vendor booths provided by our sponsors, while the kids have fun with games, activities and the amazing kid's zone.
Admission to the festival is free.
Get active this September and help the children of Central Texas by participating in the 5K Dash-Fun Run. Join us for a scenic 3.1 mile run or walk on the beautiful trails of Yettie Polk Park.
